Dweezil Zappa's performance was amazing, but my review focuses more on the venue, "Hill Seating." We are a group of 6 girls aged 25 to 40. It's a shame that I have always enjoyed DTE and never had a problem with the hill seating until last week. I've enjoyed the hill, with lots more room to dance and more freedom to move about. This venue should really consider an 18 plus policy. I have been to over 35 concerts and been in mosh pits that were less disrespectful than these girls. They provoked us by saying, "hit me, I'm only 15, there's nothing you can do." I have never in my life dealt with such horrible little humans. They literally threw my friend into the railing, causing a huge bruise on her lower stomach, and screamed in our faces because we would not leave our spot. We had the unfortunate occurrence of being around a group of 14 and 15-year-old rude and disrespectful girls. I have no idea where their parents were, but it was crazy that an event serving alcohol would allow 14 and 15-year-olds without parental supervision. As we were walking to our jeep, a group of teenage boys decided to open my Jeep door while we were standing next to it. I asked him what he was doing, and he seemed very thrown off that we were standing behind the jeep. I'm not sure if he was trying to steal something or if he was drunk and confused, but he was definitely no older than 16.
